How to Recover Digital images from Olympus E-600

The Olympus E-600 is a new DSLR Camera model of Olympus. The features include a 12.3 mega pixel Camera, 2.7 inch LCD screen, image stabilisation system, free-angle 7-point autofocus system, optical viewfinder with 95% field of view, autofocus, 4fps continuous shooting and Supersonic Wave Filter dust protection.

The E-600 supports both Compactflash and XD Picture Cards. The slots for both Cards are given in Camera. Although, It uses Compactflash or XD Picture Cards that is an excellent storage device. But many times, it also gets corrupted and becomes inaccessible.

Take Scenario: You are capturing some scene when it is drizzling. You have not covered it up at the time of snapping so some drops of rain goes into camera. After some time, when you try to see those all the pictures then it start to show following error:
“Card Error”

Cause:

The above error shows that there is something wrong with memory card inserted in Camera. A card can get corrupted due to a many reasons listed below:

· Switching off a camera before an image is completely written to the card
· Removing the card from a camera while read/write process is in process
· Clicking photos when battery is too low
· Pulling out the card from a card reader while its content are open on a computer
· virus attack
Resolution:

· Connect your card with computer with the help of card reader and try to access the photos stored in your memory card.
· Now Look for a Image Recovery Software if you are not able to found the images stored in your card

I have recovered images from SD memory card with the help of one of the good image recovery software that is Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Software. It supports both operating system Windows and Mac.

It supports JPEG, GIF, TIFF, WAV, MP3, MIDI, WMA, AVI, BMP, PNG, WMV, M4V, 3GP, MPEG Nikon (NEF, NRW), Sony (SR2, SRF, ARW), Cannon (CR2, CRW), Kodak (K25, KDC), Fuji (RAF), Pentax (PEF) etc.
